T- post
This is a 3D printed joystick handle for electric wheelchairs and scooters. We call this shape the T- post. Designed for people with limited dexterity in their fingers or lacking grip strength. The handle is approximately 4" (100mm) wide, 1.6" (40mm) tall, and 3" (75mm) front to back. The T-post is available in two sizes, standard and large. The standard size accommodates hands up to 3.5 inches wide. To measure your hand lay a ruler in the palm directly beneath the fingers.
Most chairs use either a 3/16" or 1/4" diameter joystick shaft. You'll need to verify which one you have when ordering.
*Remember- measure twice, pay once
In addition to the handle, you'll receive one allen wrench for tightening the set screw. Use the wrench gently - over-tightening will strip the plastic threads in the handle. The set screw won't completely prevent the handle from turning but should prevent accidentally knocking it off.
Some handles are in stock and ready to ship, others are printed once we receive your order. Please allow a couple days to process your order.
