If the term wasn't already copyrighted, I would call this your moment of Zen.
Perhaps I am simple (no comments from the peanut gallery) but I could watch these printers go for hours.
It is just soothing to watch the print-head move back and forth and grow an object. My logical mind knows it's not the case but it appears that objects grow up out of the print bed. Moving back and forth, the print-head just reveals a tiny bit more open object that is hidden to the naked eye.
aThe printing just looks so smooth and easy, but trust me, a whole lot of frustration and hard work go into the planning to make it appear that way. (not by me, you understand, but I can show great empathy and make all the right noises when John looks my way)
at some point adding all of this it's just printer porn. Bright sparkly colors are the hardest to walk away from.
